St Louis Gambling Kingpins has been released in their true crime book series.

It's a story of gambling history when entrepreneurs found their way to gaming as the choice for independence and making their fortune.  Today its AI, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, or whatever attracts their strengths and opportunities for the same independence and wealth success.

James R Doyle paints a picture of these entrepreneurs  during the first half of the twentieth century.  They excelled at gambling and rose to become Kingpins. The more notable were based in St Louis, Chicago, New York and New Orleans.  One section highlights Doyle's Uncles' Vic and Jim, and their Ringside Casino: the largest casino in the Midwest during this time.

The book profiles all the "Kingpins" till around 1950 when mobsters drove them out of business, combined with the ascent of Las Vegas.

Gambling ownership today is also profiled, which has primarily become publicly owned corporations

The book has been featured on Radio and TV outlets, as well as a series of book signings by Mr. Doyle.  An interview from the "City Corner" show on You Tube can be accessed from the link below.

The book is available directly from Arcadia Publishing, at all national outlets including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Wal Mart, etc, as well as independent bookstores such as Barbara's Bookstores in Chicago.

It can also be purchased directly from JRDI by accessing the Buy Button below.

An outgrowth from the book has prompted  the creation of illustrations that provides a rare inside look of  Uncle Vic and Jim's  Ringside Casino in 1944.  The tab below can take you to these drawings,.
